Job Description

As an Outbound Business Development Representative, you will identify and engage qualified prospects across North America, conduct discovery calls, and generate new sales opportunities. You’ll drive outbound outreach, qualify leads using structured frameworks, and support the sales team with a steady pipeline of high-quality meetings.

Employment type: Indefinite term type contract
Shift: Day shift, weekends off (9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM EST)
Work setup: Onsite, Calle 97A, Bogotá, Colombia

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience as a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales professional, preferably in B2B or North American markets
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
  • Confident phone presence with the ability to build rapport with decision-makers
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator; Apollo experience is an asset
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed activity and meeting targets
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling and discovery conversations
  • Experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing is an asset

Your Daily Tasks

  • Conduct outbound outreach to high-potential prospects in the food, beverage, and pet food sectors across North America
  • Execute multi-channel outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls
  • Engage owners, marketing managers, and operations leaders to uncover packaging needs
  • Lead discovery calls to identify prospect pain points, budgets, and timelines
  • Qualify prospects using the MEDDIC framework and convert leads into booked meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and Apollo, tracking activities, outcomes, and next steps
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and Account Executives to ensure strong handoffs and consistent pipeline growth

Success Metrics

  • Number of discovery meetings booked per week
  • Number of qualified opportunities generated from outbound activity
